On March 27, 2009, Alison Sudol and her band mates (aka A Fine Frenzy) performed at the annual Eden Florida concert (benefiting children and adults with autism). Alison wowed the audience with her “One Cell In The Sea” catalogue, covers of Beatle and Death Cab For Cutie tunes, and newly written songs never before heard live. The fans were mesmerized by Alison’s grace, beauty and soulfulness—her haunting melodies and clever lyrics. If that were not enough, Alison also donated her comp tickets to some of the adult autistic students in the Eden Florida program and donated 100% of her merchandise sales after the show to Eden Florida, which will be used to provide scholarships to families who cannot otherwise afford one-on-one therapy for their children. Alison is a great human and the world is a much better place with her in it. THANKS ALI!

In 2006, Ben Taylor and his band mates, Larry Ciancia and David Saw, played TARA’s benefit for Eden Florida. As is customary, the show was produced and recorded by TARA. Unique to this gig, however, Ben Taylor and his record label, Iris Records, distributed a digital EP of Ben’s performance and continues to donate the royalties from that project to Eden Florida (currently in excess of $4,000). “Ben is the quintessential responsible artist for whom TARA enjoys booking and promoting a gig. The world is a brighter place with him in it,” says TARA’s trustee, Bob Goldman.
